Formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1986, Goo Goo Dolls developed from punk and alternative roots into a melodic rock band led by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik and bassist and vocalist Robby Takac. Their 1998 album Dizzy Up the Girl brought wide success with songs including “Iris,” “Slide,” and “Black Balloon.” Later releases include Chaos in Bloom (2022), alongside a catalog that spans more than a dozen studio albums.
“Iris” remains a defining song for the group, known for its emotional writing and its long-standing connection with listeners. Concertgoers can look forward to a guitar-led rock performance drawing on the band's familiar hits and wider catalog. The event listing names Def Leppard and The Struts alongside Goo Goo Dolls; the precise set order and individual performance times have not been provided.
Gainbridge Fieldhouse is an arena venue in downtown Indianapolis. Its indoor setting makes it a practical choice for a large-scale rock bill, with seating arranged around the event floor. The exact configuration may vary by production, so check the event seating map before selecting tickets.
Floor seats can offer a close view of the stage, while lower-level seats provide a raised perspective that can make it easier to take in the full performance. Upper-level sections are generally a budget-conscious way to experience an arena concert, though they place fans farther from the performers. Prices vary by section and availability.
Parking availability and rates can change for major events. Review current options near the arena before traveling, and allow extra time for downtown traffic and post-show congestion.
